Baseball and Softball Continue Throughout Our Area
The Nazareth spring sports season is coming to a close pretty soon, but there’s still a lot more left.
On Thursday, April 24, the Nazareth girls lacrosse team traveled to Freedom and earned a 10-6 win while the Nazareth Middle School softball team beat Easton 3-2 and Nazareth softball played host to Central Catholic and won 11-1 while the baseball team fell 5-2 to Central Catholic.
On Friday, April 25, the baseball and softball teams played host to Pocono Mountain East as the baseball team fell 5-3 in 8 innings while the softball team got a 15-0 win and the boys lacrosse team went over to Liberty and got a 12-4 win and the Nazareth Middle School softball team got a 17-6 win at Northeast.
On Saturday, April 26, the Nazareth boys lacrosse team played host to Central and fell 16-6 in that game and the girls lacrosse team played host on Senior Day to Moravian Academy and got a 14-7 win. Nazareth boys tennis beat Pocono Mountain East 5-2 at Nazareth while the baseball team got a 13-6 win at Stroudsburg and the softball team also got a 13-2 win over Stroudsburg to clinch a playoff birth for the 28th straight year.
On Thursday, May 1, the baseball and softball teams will host Becahi and Nazareth Middle School softball play their last home game at 4 p.m. vs. Orefield and the boys volleyball will be at Easton and the girls lacrosse team will host Easton in the final home game at 7 p.m.
On Friday, May 2, the softball team will host Parkland at 4 p.m. and boys lacrosse will host Northampton at 7 p.m.
On Saturday, May 3, the girls lacrosse team will be at Southern Lehigh at 10 a.m.
On Monday, May 5, the baseball team will host Pleasant Valley at 4 p.m. and boys volleyball will host Parkland at 7 p.m.
On Tuesday, May 6, the baseball team will host Whitehall while the softball team will go to Whitehall for a 7 p.m. game in Coplay.
