The Nazareth Blue Eagles are now in playoff form as we enter the week of February 23. The boys basketball team played host to Liberty in the Pigtail Play on February 17 and saw their season come to an end with a 65-51 loss, ending the year with a 13-10 record.
The Nazareth Girls Basketball Team played in the Quarterfinal Round at Allen High School on Friday, February 19 against Whitehall and won 39-31 to move to the Semifinals of Districts. That will take place on Tuesday, February 23 at Allen High School at 7:30 p.m. where they will play Northampton for a chance to defend their District Championship from a year ago.
The Nazareth Wrestling Team will start the Individual Season with the Individual Tournament, held at Liberty Memorial Gymnasium on Friday, February 26 and Saturday, February 27. The first round will start at 4 p.m. on Friday followed by the Quarterfinals. On Saturday, February 27 the action will start at 9 a.m. with the Semifinals at 10:45 a.m. and the finals are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, February 27.
The Nazareth Competition Cheerleaders finished in first place in a competition on Sunday, February 21 and congrats to all of them.
